Summary | The objective of the proposed research is to continue the development of the MEMS directional acoustic sensor for small UAV and gunshot detection and localization, optimize the sensors and sensor-assemblies for field operations, develop low noise readout and system interface electronics as well ruggedized packaging for field operation. The idea is to prepare stand-alone units for determination of direction of arrival (DoA) and distributed, networked units for localization of both gunshots and small UAVs. |
