Summary | This continuing research effort will consist of a three-pronged approach in FY2015. We will continue working on the development of optimization algorithms to incorporate into a tactical decision aid (TDA) for maritime search and surveillance missions during counter-drug operations. The TDA will provide situational awareness for a commander within an area of operations (AO) and also efficiently allocate available search assets within that AO. (2) We will shin our focus lo the anti-submarine warfare realm and develop optimization models, algorithms, and tools to deploy multiple search assets against multiple moving submarines. (3) We will formulate game-theoretic models to analyze submarine vs. submarine engagements. |
