Summary	This event addresses the delivery of CCMR Peacekeeping program USPACOM Multinational Peacekeeping Exercise (MPE) Final Training Exercise (FTE) to members of the Bangladesh Armed Forces and a select number of international military officers. This course/event (MASL 309459 ) is regularly conducted, on an annual basis, by CCMR throughout the Asia-Pacific area. This training was coordinated and agreed upon bilaterally by the US and Bangladesh governments during the Bilateral Defense Discussions. If this course does not occur it would diminish Bangladesh's capacity to train future deploying peacekeepers, and specifically, peacekeeping instructors. This would negatively affect future US-Bangladesh peacekeeping cooperation. Bangladesh is currently a major contributor of peacekeepers to UN Missions worldwide. There is potential that failure to support this training could adversely impact force generation for potential new UN missions or extend already deployed contingents in place due to inadequate replacements available.
