Summary The 'Future Challenges to Just War Theory' International Conference will be held in Monterey, Ca. in Fall 2015. (Dates: Early to Mid October, 2015). It will be a major, large, international academic conference which will bring together the top scholars from around the globe working on questions related to just war theory and the ethics of war and the specific ways in which the future will pose challenges to these traditional normative frameworks. In particular, the conference will have several sessions dedicated to how emerging and future military technologies such as robotic systems, unmanned systems, and cyberwarfare will each present their own unique challenges to just war theory and the future warfighter, among many other relevant and related issues directly tied to CRUSER's educational mission. The conference will host researchers from across several disciplines and fields and stands to be a major event of significant impact and visibility.
