Summary | This project seeks to achieve the following: (1)leverage Naval Postgraduate School students and faculty to work with US Government and industry to solve a current capability gap with organic-level (maintained and controlled by Special Operations Forces (SOF) squad sized teams) intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) /small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS); and (2) Integrate existing and emerging technology in the field of semi-autonomous flight and object recognition to design/create a platform that increases Battlefield Situational Awareness (BSA) augmenting Battlefield Cognitive Support (BCS) with artificial intelligence (AI) enabled human/machine teaming by identifying, prioritizing, and communicating critical time-sensitive information. |
