Summary This 6-week hybrid course (2 weeks MET; 4 weeks distributed learning) provides the leadership of participants nations armed forces information on the security issues facing governments and militaries, including areas of network and data vulnerabilities, terrorism movement, human trafficking, as well as technical capabilities of attackers and violent extremist organizations (VEOs). Representatives will explore methodologies, applications, strategies, and best practices of Cyberspace Technology and Security to counter VEOs and promote increased national security and stability. Lab exercises will be used to improve the students' detailed knowledge of security threats and the methods used to exploit them as well as expand familiarity with the methodologies and motives used by those who will attack the networks they may someday defend. Students will also learn to identify and establish policy, planning, operations, and technology issues involved in establishing and maintaining effective cyber security.
