Summary |
The Center of Multi-INT Studies is cultivating the expertise of NPS faculty members to create a five-week course on small satellite mission development to satisfy the academic needs of the sponsoring agency. The objective of this effort is to provide students with an intensive and unique proficiency level training program that provides significant hands-on experience with tools, models, COTS and 3-D printed components, and mock-ups of small satellites. This work seeks to produce educational and research outcomes that significantly increase the ability of the U.S. Navy, U.S. Department of Defense, and other U.S. government agencies to better develop a satellite mission plan/architecture, build to the designed requirements, test designed hardware, and operate mission hardware in a simulated environment |
