Summary |
This 7-day workshop will continue to equip senior level ministerial personnel with the essential knowledge of the UNPKO FRLM requirements, which will enable this emerging Troop Contributing Country (TCC) to effectively deploy & redeploy a financially self sustaining designated peacekeeping contingent on UNPKO missions. This workshop will demonstrate international best practices required for deployable contingents to operate on a revenue neutral/positive status. The workshop is designed to enable participants to enhance their knowledge of effective reimbursement management to ensure selection probability, self-sustainability, and increased redeployment capability on UNPKO missions. Throughout the course, participants develop skills to recognize and evaluate the risk assessments and tradeoffs that must be made among competing alternatives at both the strategic and operational levels of organizations tasked with managing TCC deployments & redeployments. This workshop is designed as a follow-on to the Phase I workshop completed in June 2016. It specifically targets and expands on key modules from Phase I with an emphasis on “Strategies to Budgets”. |
