Summary | ACT I and NPS will collaborate to an effective cost analysis tool for the integration of alternative energy non-tactical vehicles to multi-service joint installations in support of the Alternative Energy Ground Vehicle-Power Grid Interface Program (AEGV-PGIP). The collaborators will apply a multi-functional approach to discern the critical facets associated with fuel costs and alternative energy concept for both fixed-installation and mobile applications. A better understanding of the alternative energy issues associated with military installations (all services) and vehicle fleets will be incorporated in to the model. The collaborators will focus on the study, analysis and promulgation of issues associated with microgrid/infrastructure development, from both a technical and cost-benefit perspective. |
