Summary	Our goal is to develop solutions to the challenges created by mobile-cloud interactions. These challenges arise due to wildly fluctuating wireless bandwidth, intermittent connectivity, and unreliable connectedness of mobile clients. Navy ships, which operate as afloat platforms, share the same issues when communicating with cloud-based servers. Given that Navy ships have to sometimes operate in a disconnected state, we will special attention to handling this requirement.
