Summary | We propose to develop cooperative, energy-harvesting (solar and thermal) techniques that will allow a flock of autonomous, soaring gliders to achieve long endurance (week or more) flights, providing distributed sensing and dynamic network area coverage at a significantly lower operational cost, and with significantly reduced personnel requirements then is possible with existing systems. |
