Summary	The Indonesian Navy requires that their personnel become better acquainted with systems theories and system dynamics modeling as these relate to strategic and operational thinking and planning. The course will teach the basic concepts of system dynamics and modeling/simulation of dynamic systems. Real world applications and case studies will be used to illustrate the value of system dynamics and students will be given the opportunity to work through the system dynamics modeling process in group projects. By the end of the course, students will have obtained a functional understanding of system dynamics and the complexity that underlies today's interconnected and dynamic operational environment.
