Summary	The proposed efforts are directed towards (a) developing technology bases for exploiting the effects of detonation merging on shaped charge performance, (b) developing technical bases and plans for experimentally demonstrating effectiveness of two novel concepts for intensifying underwater blast, and (c) exploring the potential application of CL-20 explosive for underwater blast application.
