Summary	The research project will address the likely role of new Russian strategic weapons in the great power competition. Specifically, the project will address the status and capabilities of the new Russian weapons publicized by Moscow since March 2018, including their role in and impact upon Russian military strategy, as well as the functions of nuclear and conventional assets in outfitting the new weapons.
