Summary | An integration of broadband satellite communications cluster of mobile nodes for the NPS Tactical Network Topology (TNT) Maritime Interdiction Operations (MIO) testbed. This ''Network on the Move" is the next phase in a successful series of advances at NPS in wireless network solutions. The addition of mobile portable satellite ground station nodes enables rapid deployment of the MIO network to globally distributed sites, including US or coalition assets in the open waters, fast boats in coastal or riverine areas, small aircraft intercepts, and land-based sites including bridges, ports and border control check points. |
