Summary | A newly published theory developed at the Naval Postgraduate School has shown that spacecraft and their subsystems can achieve very fast maneuvering for multi-targeting by exploiting control-to-inertia distributions. Here, we propose to develop an initial microprocessor solution by advancing these new algorithms for hardware implementation. If successful, the results of this project will have a ripple effect in considerably enhancing collection capabilities of legacy and future systems by way of a small modification to ground systems. |
