Summary |
Bi-Static UUV Submarine Warfare is a task within the FY17-18 Naval Special Operations Technology and Partnerships Proposal. It is an effort to develop a prototype a capability for UUV's to detect, track and target quiet threat submarines using a new Navy technology called Bi-static Active System (BiAS). BiAS uses active source and passive hull mounted receivers. This effort accomplishes advanced technology development, government oversight, warfighter engagement, rapid transition to Navy, and execution of advanced technologies for Navy, Submarine Forces, Pacific Fleet, and Naval Special Warfare. |
