Summary | This task provides technical support and subject matter expertise to the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD/R&E) and Deputy Chief of Staff, Office of the Secretary of Defense (DCoS/SD) and others, for advanced technology development, testing, transitioning, and operational applications for diverse commands within the Navy, USMC, Special Operations, PACOM, and other COCOMs and Commands. PI will also maintain and expand partnerships among Senior Interagency Government partners, in areas of Special Operations, Special Access Programs and advanced capabilities, in such organizations as DoD, NASA, DIA, DOI, NRO, NGA, IC, and others as needed. The effort will promote and advance transitions of advanced technologies capabilities to Special Operations Forces and Conventional Commands. An education task includes introducing and demonstrating a rapid, effective approach that creates and build multi-disciplinary, 'multi-cultural' teams to advance and transition new capabilities, supporting warfighter needs and requirements. |
