Summary |
The objective of the Naval Space Systems Engineering and Acquisition (SSEA) Chair is to promote and guide a focused instructional and research program in space systems engineering and acquisition at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) which will support the design, development, integration, test, launch and on-orbit sustainment of naval space systems. The roles and responsibilities governing the Naval SSEA Chair will be defined in a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) pending signature by the President, Naval Postgraduate School and the Program Executive Officer for Space Systems. The intent of this proposal is to establish the foundation for the Naval SSEA Chair by investigating opportunities for collaboration between the Program Executive Office for Space Systems (PEO SS) and the NPS Space Systems Program and defining future tasks to be executed by the Chair. |
