Summary We propose to improve the system development and maintenance operations of Labtainers in a manner that supports collaboration and the creation of a Labtainers community. We also propose to develop new Labtainers cyber security exercises, including labs that incorporate open source tools released by NSA. These new labs will be developed in a manner to test and refine the new collaboration support functions.
We will partner with Liberty University to test and exercise the new collaboration support features of Labtainers. Liberty University is submitting an independent proposal to this program that includes development of new Labtainers exercises with an emphasis on Web security. They have agreed to work with us to shape the features of the new collaboration functions and to test their utility. As part of our collaboration with Liberty University, NPS will provide expertise and guidance to aid in their development of new Labtainers exercises.
