Summary Dr. Garren shall provide training for up to ten persons, designated as members of the Ocean Harvest (OH) Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Image Formation Processing (IFP) Laboratory. The SAR IFP training will include the delivery and use of Engineering MatLab based software tools, shall be conducted in-person by Dr. Garren, on-location, near, or within NAWCAD Pax River, MD. The training events shall consist of four (4) dates, not to exceed (8) hours in any single day; one day per month, not to exceed thirty-two (32) hours. Training shall include basic 2-D Spotlight Mode SAR IFP, plus Moving Target Focus (MOTAR). Training shall include problems assigned at training events that are to be completed and reviewed at the following training event. Students have the option to solve these assigned problems as individuals or as a collective team response, and may include interaction with the Instructor via email. The primary focus of this training is to enhance collective team capability, not the evaluation of individual performance.
