Summary |
The JNLWD is currently developing a model-based tool, called WRENCH, to help commanders define scenario-dependent optimizing non-lethal-weapon rules-of-engagements to help guide security forces during encounters with non-combatant â¿¿crowdsâ¿¿. The primary objective of this project is to determine the feasibility and value of integrating the Army's ATHENA model with the JNLWD's WRENCH model so as to both simplify the WRENCH scenario specification process and to provide a new capability in WRENCH to drive plausible run-time updates to that scenario. The promise of such an integration is in its potential to improve the optimality of the identified Non-Lethal Weapon (NLW) rules-of-engagement. The method utilized on this project will involve the completion of three tasks: Requirement Definition; Interface Design; Recommendations. |
