Summary The scope of this work by NPS is the extended analysis of the aircraft radiometer data from the CAMP2Ex field study. This will include post-mission calibration of the instruments, quality control checks on the data, submission of Level 1 and Level 2 navigationally corrected data to the NASA CAMP2Ex data archive, identification and analysis of case study days, and calculation of solar and IR forcing and radiative heating rate profiles. It will also include collaboration with other members of the CAMP2Ex Science Team on integrated analysis that combines corollary datasets and 3-D radiative transfer models to quantify how the spatially and temporally heterogeneous aerosols and clouds in the region of the Philippines modify the atmospheric heat budget and the radiative forcing, and how these changes in the radiative field feedback on the evolution of the aerosol particles, clouds, and precipitation.
