Summary | This proposal is to continue high-resolution (~250m - 4km) numerical modeling of hurricanes from CAMEX-3, CAMEX-4, and ongoing simulations for TCSP at my new professional location, the Department of Meteorology, Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA. The emphasis of this ongoing collaborative research is on the use of various aircraft and satellite data for model validation as well as examination of numerical simulations and observations for improved understanding of physical and dynamical processes within tropical cyclones. |
