Summary | This year's research will focus on recent changes in the U.S.-Russian strategic relationship with a specific emphasis on the implications of these changes for arms control dialogue after start expires. In addition, this year's project will provide a forum for continued high-level discussions on previously assessed topics which have risen in prominence over the past six months, to include work preformed by the bilateral study group involving moving beyond mad; avenues for jointly combating WMD terrorism; response to third party ballistic missile threats, and cooperation in command and control and joint data exchange. |
