Summary	Forging this relationship between JIEDDO and NPS aims to achieve three overarching goals. Identify and analyze the systems/networks that produce the violence associated with insurgencies to reduce the output of these systems/networks. Develop social, political, economic, and military concepts, as well as acquisition strategies for decision makers to employ in combating insurgencies and the weapons that they use. Establish a long-term partnership and infrastructure to help sustain JIEDDO's research needs.
