Summary | This document defines the scope of work in the above-named project to support the Joint IED Defeat Organization's (JIEDDO's) research and development efforts at NPS. It provides a description of work, resources and anticipated deliverables needed to complete the intended research. The period of performance for this effort is December 2007-September 2008. The focus of this research is to develop products that will improve our forces ability to detect IEDs. This will be accomplished by analyzing how the environment affects the performance of visible and infrared imaging systems and incorporating these results into an operational target detection model. |
