Summary | Thunderstorms are responsible for a large percentage of worldwide weather impacts, and have a substantial influence on society. Despite their great impact on society, there are still aspects of thunderstorms that we do not understand. This research will use numerical simulations of thunderstorms in a variety of environments to better understand the forces that regulate vertical accelerations in their cores. The results will be used to improve our ability to predict climate. |
