Summary	This conference prepares future Foreign Area Officers from all services for roles and duties they can expect in their future positions. By discussing key foreign are officer characteristics, roles and responsibilities in an open forum, participants can engage panel members to seek a better understanding of challenges that lie ahead. This conference fills a gap in the FAO education and training program by allowing students to formulate questions and invite subject matter experts who can best answer those questions, benefiting both the FAOs and their spouses.
