Summary | Collection systems with disparate sensors are required to collect data from a large set. Elements of this set may be in motion and their location might be uncertain with respect to the modality of a given sensor. The objective is to develop algorithms for an optimal plan and schedule for collecting data. The objective function for the multi-sensor system is the science return. Developing an end-to-end mathematical model for this problem, that accounts for all the real-world complexities, is part of the proposed problem space. |
