Summary The goal of this research is to develop novel inversion techniques for the rapid detection of high energy laser based on atmospheric scattering measurements, in particular the orientation, power and the wavelength of the laser. A hierarchy of models will be examined for the efficient implementation of inversion algorithms with respect to real data from bistatic sensor measurements.
