Summary 1. Provide Strategic Advisory Support. This may be broad-reaching to include consultation with Admiral Wray and/or his senior team on issues related to INSURV's strategic role in Navy readiness and in correcting systemic problems and challenges the Navy faces. Direction of support to be directed by RADM Wray. b. Exploring INSURV's untapped/underexploited potential. c. Helping to develop approaches for creating demand among senior flags, in support of systemic INSURV improvement (aimed at better fleet readiness). d. Helping to shape and formulate strategic communications. e. Exploring best ways of measuring INSURV's impact.
2. Development of a Basic Strategic Planning and Execution Process. Provide education to the INSURV team on the basic tools and processes required to build and execute organizational strategic direction; help them create a basic command plan and a process for its execution. This support will require workshops and sessions with the team over an extended period of time in order to give them the opportunity to develop vision, mission, values, and goals designed to drive high performance in every role as well as execution of key strategies and related initiatives. This support will also assist the command in establishing a regular drumbeat of accountability - ensuring the ongoing execution of the plan and continued review of its relevancy.
3. Program Management Advisory Support. Provide mentoring to INSURV leaders managing the most critical strategic initiatives and the overall initiative portfolio.
4. General Project Management Education and Mentoring. Provide foundational education and mentoring on best practices and basic tools related to successful project management.
