Summary | The Naval Postgraduate School's (NPS) Center for Interdisciplinary Remotely Piloted Aircraft Studies (CIRPAS) submits this proposal to support the airborne research objectives of the Office of Naval Research (ONR) in the year 2013. Four ONR research groups have requested the support of CIRPAS' personnel, instrumentation, and aircraft. These projects are: 1. Aircraft Observations for Improved Physical Parameterization for Seasonal Prediction. This project is led by Dr. David Emmitt of Simpson Weather Associates. 2. Radiometer measurements in the marine layer. The project is led by Dr. Anthony Bucholtz of NRL Monterey. 3. Nucleation in the Marine Boundary Layer. This project is led by Professor Johon Seinfeld and Richard Flagan of CalTech. 4. Aerosol-Cloud Process. This project is led by Dr. Armin Sorooshian of University of Arizona. |
