Summary | The proposal is to provide identity management education to DoD personnel through a certificate program that has been developed by the Naval Postgraduate School. The Identity Management Certificate has been designed to provide students with an understanding of the interrelationship between emerging technical mechanisms and both operational and policy issues. The program consists of four graduate-level courses and is taught using a hybrid delivery mode that combines traditional classroom instruction with asynchronous education technology. The effort proposed here is to support the participation of a total of 24 students, with 6 students in each of four cohorts during 2010 and into 2011. Each candidate to receive sponsored support for participation in the Identity Management Certificate program will be approved by the sponsor. |
