Summary | This proposal seeks to continue the development of tools to allow the processing of Internet packets on desktop computers by individuals who are relatively untrained in the art of network forensics. FY12 will continue the NPS work in Packet Carving, which provides for the identification of network packets on subject media and the assembly of those packets into TCP streams. FY13 provides for the continued development of the packet carving tool and the development of easy-to-use, open source software for visualizing packet data flows. |
