Summary | The NPS Space Systems Academic Group is charged with the graduate education of officer students in support of growing the Space Cadre. To that end, hands-on engineering is required for officer students to apply the knowledge and principles learned through their academic Course work. Specifically, the students are exposed to engineering of small satellites with the guidance and support of an experienced and skilled engineering staff at NPS, as well as exposure to government and commercial entities via experience tour travel. Support for the NPS Space Systems Engineering Curriculum is proposed to fund the engineering labor, student experience tour travel, and the Small Satellite Laboratory. |
