Summary | This proposal for continued support of our research in large-scale optimization includes research and development of methods for solving a game-theoretic network-interdiction model for optimal, randomized allocation of surveillance assets to detect an "evader" attempting to transit a transportation network. The evader can represent an enemy invading a region or smugglers transporting weapons, drugs, nuclear materials, etc. |
