Back Shipboard Electric System Modeling

Assess the system impacts via the use of modeling and simulation models for various hybrid electric drive (HED) shipboard power systems and exercise these models to assess the impact of varying power system architectures as related to load characteristics, operational modes, overall ship performance and fault mitigation.
The development of these models in MATLAB/SIMULINK with increasing levels of fidelity as the system/trade space, and component selections evolve.
Supplement the electric power curriculum as learning tool for Naval officers.
