Summary | Over the past decade, there has been significant advancements made in the design of underwater acoustic vector sensors. Concurrent with these technological advances have been studies of the physical properties of the acoustic vector field, and signal processing techniques designed to extract exploitable features. This work will support efforts at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) and the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) to explore these concepts in environments of tactical interest to the US Navy, specifically during sea trials in FY19. |
