Summary | The objective of this project is to perform preliminary design of a multi-mission spacecraft, consisting of both modular spacecraft bus and optical payloads for Operationally Responsive Space (ORS) office. The optical payloads to be considered are LEO Electro-Optical Visible/Near Infrared Imager, LEO EO/Shortwave-Infrared Imager, LEO Hyperspectral Imager (HSI), and LEO Deep Space Object Search and Track. The orbits to be considered are Sun-Synchronous, Mid-Latitude, and Equatorial The launch vehicles to be considered are Minotaur-class, Pegasus, Taurus, and Falcon-class. It is desirable to have modular architectures based on open, non-proprietary standards and architectures to the degree possible such as the AFRL Plug-n-Play Standards. |
