Summary | During fiscal year (FY) 2020, the Principal Investigators (PIs) and other Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) personnel will extend the capabilities of some of the existing simulation and optimization tools that the same NPS faculty have developed to date. Capability extensions are sought for the following tools: - Wholesale Inventory Optimization Model for Enterprise Resource Planning (WIOM-ERP), - Site Demand-based Inventory Optimization Model (SIOM), and - Navy Aviation Readiness Based Sparing Model (NAVARM). Should resources of time and effort permit, NPS will explore a theoretical proposal for a new maritime readiness-based sparing (RBS) system. |
