Summary | Future forces may be required to operate in environments contaminated by chemical, biological, and radiological (CBR) weapons. To enhance the warfighter's ability to understand the effects of CBR, the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) is leading development of the Joint Operational Effects Federation (JOEF). JOEF is a modeling and simulation (M&S) program to develop families of models that improve leaders' ability to evaluate CBR effects on personnel equipment, and operations. The principle investigators will team with TRAC-Monterey, AFRL, and a thesis student-officer at the Naval Postgraduate School in a simulation study of a FFW and/or LW SCU in an urban chemical environment. |
