Summary | The NPS team will analyze the best solutions for a long range wireless network that can extend from a Cutter to Boarding Teams and provide data transfer capability of operational data. Research will be based on existing NPS MIO testbed capabilities and expertise in integrating tactical self-forming ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore networks. The approach is based on an ongoing series of joint field experimentations and studies with USCG and Maritime Police first responders, producing Boarding Teams-to-Cutter self-forming networking configurations and operational data transfer models. |
