Summary | UC2 is an Open IT Environment dynamic cloud service that intelligently assembles the on-demand information needs of users and their devices, and optimizes services based on connectivity and device constraints. UC2 enables an environment where context is fully understood by all participation systems, including assumptions and constraints. It knows you, your job, your job role, your schedule, your devices (including mobile platforms), your professional network, as well as how all these elements and objects relate to each other to perform tasks. Via modeled connections to specific data sets which need not be specified in advance, UC2 has the ability to autonomously discover, fuse, correlate, assemble, and disseminate just-in-time data (using the Data as a Service, or DaaS, concept) required for the user to execute their daily job(s). This proof of concept development effort will focus on one aspect of the NPS CubeSat project as the use case. |
