Summary |
NPS Center for Executive Education developing a Tailored Strategic Planning for Execution: Assessment and Risk (SPEAR) workshop to focus on U.S. Naval Ship Repair Facility and Japan Regional Maintenance Center (SRF-JRMC) initiatives by providing education and facilitation to support the development, implementation, and accomplishment of a strategic planning process. This tailored SPEAR is a 5-day workshop will provide a guided process to support SRF-.JRMC by identifying their Vision, Mission, Values/Customer Needs; Strategic Position and Objectives; Strategic Assessment and Metrics; Risk Management and Assessment and Strategic Communication as Risk Mitigation. Strategic objectives to be addressed during this workshop include: clearly defining their mission, so it effectively guides decisions throughout their organization; assess internal and external changes and emerging trends that impact their strategic plan; determine most important objectives for their organization to achieve, given limited resources and expanding requirements; identify distinctive capabilities that position their organization for sustained high performance; assess their objectives; select metrics that assure intended results; and maximize their organizational leadership capabilities, as individuals and teams, to gain support and resources for their strategic initiatives. SRF-JRMC will be bringing in approximately 50 executive managerial leadership personnel for this workshop. |
