Summary |
The CORE Lab will facilitate two (2), four-day outreach and education events for the National Guard Western Regional Counter Drug Training Center. Each class will have no more than 24 students. The classes will be held at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, Ca. The trainings are scheduled for July 9-13, 2018 and August 20 to 24, 2018. Depending on the outcome of the two training's, WRCTC will look at continuing this training for FY19 and beyond for their center. The training session will provide WRCTC participants an understanding of basic Social Network Analysis (SNA) theory and techniques and to provide hands-on experience using real world social media data and applying SNA methodology using specialized software. The NPS instructors will gain value from feedback from the participants, conducting real world operations and bring that new knowledge back to NPS |
