Summary | This proposal describes the analysis tasks that assess the feasibility and performance utility of using a 3D ESA. A 3D-ESA can provide numerous element-to-element baselines that can mathematically enhance direction finding, beamforming, and null pointing. Electromagnetic (EM) analysis and simulation will be used to investigate and evaluate various beamforming and signal processing algorithms, and how they are impacted by the array design. |
