Summary | Objective is to put together the roadmap for the submarine electronic warfare (EW) systems going into the future. Another area to be discussed is how to pull together the requirements needed for the future of submarine EW. Specific topics include visual contact/sonar, BLQ-IO correlation and fusion (high-density contact management) and photonics mast non-penetrating periscope integration into ISRT mission enabling capabilities (mast signature reduction). Also to be investigated is an efficient increase in battle space awareness and preparation - status of enemy forces, ops, facilities for time critical response management and the concept of integrated, open and scalable architectures for real-A 1 time wireless connectivity for assured access. |
