Summary | The objective is to provide modeling and simulation development, analysis and support in support of shock and vibration analysis for the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) class using DYSMAS code. It includes (1) to perform FEM modeling of the two hull variants of the LCS Class in support of the required survivability analysis, (2) to perform validation and verification of the LCS FEM model as specifically prepared for shock and vibration analysis for both LCS hull variants, and (3) to identify potential problem areas as related to the survivability of the LCS hull variants. |
