Summary | The CMR MET Seminar in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, will prepare decision-makers to transform their Security Sector to effectively provide a comprehensive approach to security, while also maintaining accountable and transparent Security Institutions. The underlying theme of the course is the need for military officers and civilian officials to develop habits of cooperation within an interagency decision-making process. The delivery format combines informative presentations on academic themes and applicable frameworks with practical exercises delineating conceptual frameworks and lessons learned/best practices of Civil-Military Relations, for country use. Approximately 40 participants from the Security Sector (Armed Forces, Police, Intelligence), as well as various Ministries, and civil society organizations are expected to attend the CMR MET. The MASL number for this MET is P309070. This seminar was coordinated with SOUTHCOM and the Country Team of Honduras. The MASL number was established by the United States Navy. |
